About

PICO United Florida

PICO United Florida is a network of federations of congregations in Orange, Alachua, Seminole, Escambia, Miami-Dade, St. Lucie, and Osceola Counties of Florida. Our 90 congregations represent more than 60,000 families and unite low to moderate income communities in Florida to work for systemic change. PICO Florida’s current issue campaigns address foreclosure prevention, voting rights, immigrant justice, youth violence, and jobs disparity.

The mission of PICO United Florida is to build a powerful multicultural non partisan network of congregation community organizations in Florida that will address systemic racial and economic issues that cause poverty for our families.  More than 10 different religious denominations and faith traditions are part of PICO Florida.

We are part of the PICO National Network, with more than 1,000 member institutions representing one million families in 150 cities and 17 states.
